AIRE Industry Alliance

The Arizona Institute for Renewable Energy (AIRE) offers the Industry Alliance (IA) program for its industrial sponsors and partners. The IA program is designed to forge closer ties with small and large corporations engaged in renewable energy technologies aligned with AIRE expertise including various solar energy such as photovoltaic, solar thermal, and concentrating solar, bioenergy, electrochemistry (e.g. battery and fuel cell), etc. The program will provide assistance in establishing collaboration with ASU researchers, training personnel, the hiring of students, facilitating access to ASU’s IP portfolio in renewable energy, and connecting with other commercial and non-profit organizations in Arizona doing business, research, and providing various services relevant for the alliance members.

Member Benefits

AIRE will provide reports to alliance members of the Institute activities, list member logos on the AIRE web site, assist in providing office space for partnership activities at ASU, provide assistance in organizing individual meetings and seminars at ASU, help in the search for interns and graduates for hire, assist in creating training curriculum in renewable energy areas germane to IA personnel, assist in team building for joint proposals and research programs with ASU researchers, facilitate access to ASU innovations in partnership with Arizona Technology Enterprises (AzTE), and disseminate information at ASU in the AIRE network concerning business opportunities available from IA members. AIRE will act as a liaison for IA members to Arizona educational, business and government organizations in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors. The IA program is also adaptive to the special requirements of its members, which may be negotiated as part of the membership agreement. The annual fee for IA membership is 5,000 USD.

Advisory Board Members benefits

Additional benefits for IA Advisory Board members include participating at the AIRE planning meetings, 5 hours/week of dedicated student assistance designated for the needs of the member company, as well as any special requirements to be negotiated at the signing of the membership agreement. The annual fee for IA Advisory Board membership is 10,000 USD.
